Informative and entertaining
I found the first few episodes of this podcast to be very informative. The episode with Dr Steven Hassan has some great explanations on the what makes a cult and how one can overcome their experiences once they have left the cult. He mentions a very interesting method using hypnosis developed by Daniel Brown PhD an associate clinical professor of psychology at Harvard medical school as one of the tools to help narcissistic personality disorder. Which prompted me to do a google search where I found several scientific articles elaborating on the subject. He also talks about the BITE model which he freely admits is based on the research of several other clinical psychologists and psychiatrists including Dr Jay Lifton and Dr Margaret Singer. It does get a little political at the end but I didn’t mind this as it’s good to listen to other people’s opinions on the matter. The second episode with Leah Remini is also informative but in a much more down to earth and entertaining way. They talk through Leah’s experience within Scientology and compare the similarities between her experiences and the hosts experiences. I am very much looking forward to the next episode.

Sarah and Nippy are so great at presenting difficult information in an intellectual and, at many times, funny way! So glad these two decided to create this podcast! ...because putting a narcissistic douche canoe away for 120 years just wasn’t enough! 🤗
