“I find the most off-putting aspect of this podcast is the editing. Specifically the transition between different cuts. The use of the opening theme is just too jarring. It’s abrupt and loud (More than not, way louder than the hostess’ voice), which really pulls me out of the main content. This wouldn’t be an issue if it rarely happened but in a recent episode it occurred several times within the span of a few minutes, making the issue not only jarring but now annoying. I think a different sound bit, that’s balanced to fit the audio level of the two clips it’s bridging, would make for a much better listening experience. As it is now, I’m not interested in exploring past content because it. It’s a small issue but one that stack quickly when it occurs frequently.”
