A midsummer nights mess
This interpretation and its voicing leave much to be desired. Perhaps the best thing that can be said for it is that it is full of confusion and oddity! This could be conceived to be a reflection of dreams and love. But no to me it seems as an absolute mess. The slow and ugly mix of accent (Rp English and American as I say, slow and ugly!) Much better to have replaced them with a more Traditional ‘ English country boy’ accent, or even an Athenian accent, or a mixture of the two, it would help the play move along at a Faster and more accurate pace. The producer and interpreter of this play should certainly do some more research into future please produced!

But it is still understandable, the different voices made it easier to follow. The guy that played Bottom was hilarious.

The sound quality between readers is distractingly different. The guy reading Oberon drives me nuts.
