“As a native of Missouri, I was pleasantly surprised to come upon this podcast. I grew up in Columbia, where the residents were more oriented toward the east and St. Louis than the west and Kansas City. This may have had something to do with baseball. But Kansas City has developed into what essentially is one of the capital cities of the Midwest, thereby establishing its geographic and cultural prominence. With a history as interesting as that of any city on the Atlantic or Pacific Coasts—and everywhere in between—Suzanne Hogan and Mackenzie Martin and team provide us with an engaging and entertaining format that has no shortage of topics. Great podcast. I highly recommend!”
