“Hello, I’ve been studying film and I recently discovered your podcast searching for a review of Black Swan and this has changed the way I educate myself on films. After seeing the structure of the podcast, I now have started watching movies based on directors works, and of course I had to start with Aronofsky. Aside from that, both of you have good chemistry and keep the reviews nice and short which is very easy to listen to. My only critique is to not be afraid of doing a Cronenberg season or other directors that some people might not be too keen on seeing. A true cinema fan will be open to any type of art. Keep it up y’all !”

“I’ve always appreciated a good deep dive in a film podcast. This one spends a full month on a filmmaker, choosing a film or two per episode and even has an “expert” on the director weighing in. It’s smart and fun, the hosts are thoughtful in their commentary but don’t talk down. Good stuff.”
