Honest review
I will preface this by saying that I’m not trying to be rude or hurtful but just giving an honest opinion. Sheri has been in the business a long time and I love her videos. She is very experienced and always has a lot of good information to share. She is also good at teaching and explaining things. Although she probably enjoys having a business with her daughter, Chelsi doesn’t add a lot of value to the podcast as far as knowledge goes. She talks a lot without saying that much and is always overly eager to share something and talk about nothing giving Sheri a much smaller amount of time to share more valuable information. I find myself trying to skip forward when Chelsi isn’t saying much but just commenting on something. I feel that part of the podcast is a waste of my time. Sheri is more than capable of standing on her own with the podcasts and I’m not sure why she doesn’t. Chelsi doesn’t seem to know more than your average quilter does but rides on mom’s coat tails. I do love A Quilting Life and follow Sheri on her platforms. I think she’s amazing! I will continue to listen to the podcast because of Sheri and skip the parts where Chelsi runs on commenting or there is meaningless jabber. There just isn’t a lot of value in that part for me. Again, I’m just giving an honest review.

One of my favorite podcasts. Thank you ladies for all of your tips for a new quilter. I love your blog too Sherri! I also love your quilt patterns Chelsi. I fell in love with Forest Drive as soon as I saw it and have it on my bucket list. Have a great 2021!

Honestly I wasn’t sure how interesting a podcast on quilting could be but you ladies ( and Billy) do a wonderful job and I love the link with photos and show notes. Your tips and tricks...Read full review »
