Description
In celebration of J.S. Bach’s 333rd birthday, musicians around the world will unite to perform Bach in subways and public spaces. At this live event at the UAA Campus Bookstore, Dr. Armin Abdihodzic, D.M.A. offers a concise introduction to Bach, and describes his life and expansive repertoire. “Bach in the Subways began in 2010 as an act of musical giving by a single musician in New York City. By 2015, it had grown into a global movement of musical giving joined by thousands upon thousands of musicians around the world. This happened because the experience is uniquely fun, joyful and soul-enriching.”
