“I love 90% of this, in that it’s concise and the author explains the key moments well. Great job! I gave this 4 stars simply because I get totally taken out of the story when he links his own political opinions randomly into parts of historical stories. I personally agree with his viewpoints on most things, so it’s not a political content issue, but even so it really detracts from the informative, neutral experience I enjoy with the majority of the series. If I happened to agree less then it would really turn me off the series - which would be a shame given most the content is carefully curated. Perhaps he could do a separate series linking today to the past, as that stuff is genuinely interesting!? However, for the purposes of this series, I don’t think the mixture is optimal, and think it would be better to keep the content entirely neutral and focussed on the history at hand. Hope that’s helpful feedback!”
