Empowering at times but also unkind
This podcast can be empowering for singles at times, with a lot of interesting guests and interviews. However, there is an undercurrent of bitterness, anger, defensiveness, and belligerence that clouds Shani’s interactions with other people at times and makes her come across as a not so nice person. Hard to listen to when she goes into one of those “eff men and eff if I hurt anyone else’s feelings but my own” type modes.

It’s nice to hear someone reiterate the message that there is no need for fear in singledom and that marriage does not validate your self worth. 💜
