Listening from Ireland
Whilst our small island society has shown how progressive it can be with votes in favour of divorce, gay marriage and abortion in the last 50 years, I can’t help but feel that our society is still very much oriented towards the family unit from income tax policies which favour married people, to media which, week after week, churns out the same lifestyle pieces about home ownership, family getaways and how to entertain the kids…even Covid prevention policy was heavily weighted towards schools and the struggles of homeschooling parents. It is hard not to feel invisible. So after providing this context, I am delighted to have found this podcast whilst reading an article in The Guardian UK about celibacy amongst single women. An intelligent articulate and inclusive podcast, thank you for your hard work.

I may not be single but I love this podcast so much! Shani is great and love her voice. I really like that her and guest do not always agree but can have such an open discussion. Will keep listening every week!
