Smart and relatable
I really love this podcast. Shani is smart and prepares the best questions in her interviews. She makes the conversation flow naturally which frankly is a gift. I really enjoy listening because it touches on so much material/topics that I completely relate to as a single, professional, relatively successful woman. There are many things that I like about this podcast, obviously. The different guests are always interesting and the conversations are often funny. The most reliable factor is, of course, the host. I like how balanced Shani is about being single. She’s mad about the same stuff I get mad about and relates that she’s been single for 12 years — yet she talks about the day she will get married and I really appreciate that. She’s realistic, relatable, not bitter, and funny-smart. She also relates the ups and downs she has had as a writer and I appreciate her humbleness. I always feel good when I listen to the pod, and I often look at the notes and follow up on the links. I also love the FB group that Shani started. An all around awesome thing here. Thank you Shani!

A Single Serving is the podcast I wish I would have had in my early- and mid-twenties before becoming partnered. Women are rarely encouraged to be proud of themselves as individuals, to embrace independence, to live a day-to-day life fully for them, without undercurrents of finding ~the one.~ I...Read full review »
