14-year-old Max DeVries disappeared while jet-skiing with a stranger his family met during a vacation in Aruba in 2004. Authorities initially ruled Max's loss as a tragic accident, but the man’s account of what happened on the water raised suspicions for the DeVries family.
When it was revealed that the man had a very troubling past, the family became convinced that Max’s disappearance was not accidental but a deliberate act. Was it truly a tragic incident at sea, as officials claimed, or is there a more sinister reality behind Max's fate?
