Perfect approach to the urbex conversation
Blake’s approach to exploration of our abandoned spaces feels like home- it’s a comforting and humanistic approach to exploring places that can often be cast off as just weird/haunted/dead (and sometimes with a cynicism that doesn’t serve our deep feelings and memories.) This show is so far from that cynicism; it returns the feelings and emotions tenfold. It digs into the harder conversations about capitalism and our relationships to our built environment in ways that invite you in. Love it!!!
