The downside of being an empath - Part 1
Listen now
Description
In this episode of Rich Queer Aunties, Ginele and Christabel get vulnerable on their opposing dispositions as a non-empath and an empath respectively.  They talk about who an empath is, how it’s viewed in society as well as realizations they are having as they continue on their healing journeys. The connection between being an empath and hyper-vigilance as a result of trauma is not often talked about.  In this episode, they talk about realizations Christabel is making about how the two are connected for her. Ginele shares how she integrates empathy into daily practices of self-work.  Stay tuned for part 2 next week where we continue the conversation.
