We need these conversations
The type of questions Anas asks are the important ones that go beyond the superficial. His questions guide the conversation with the guest in such a way it doesn’t feel like I’m listening to a celebrity, I feel like I’m listening to a human and it it this humility that Anas is able to achieve that allows us as listeners to learn from their experiences. My favorite interview thus far was with his mother Hala Kazim, I truly felt like it helped me understand some of mechanisms of our Emirati culture without rejecting it, trying to complement it with a better understanding about mental health as well as parenting. This is what I’ve been searching for and what I need as a Emirati— some honest and unfiltered talks. Thank you.
