“These two have good chemistry and make interesting, insightful points. They’re articulate, speaking without the distracting verbal tics of younger podcasters (except the 10-15 “like’s” per sentence). I’m going to focus on criticism because of all the AJLT podcasts, this one has much better content. They need to work on a few things and it will be the best.
1. Keep the barking dog out of the studio! I have a dog, as do many others. When I hear the dog, I get up and check if someone is in my yard, etc.
2. Edit. Cut the personal chit chat. Your specific relationship and history are not interesting. Sorry to be blunt. Just my personal opinion. However, general thoughts on friendship and relationships are good.
3. More NYC details for those of us who live in the sticks.
Otherwise, this is my favorite AJLT podcast, and I expect to revise my rating upward as I listen to the rest.”
