From Karl to Sam
There is some wisdom here in amongst the Inanity, and a few through provoking discussions, however I would recommend Sam’s Waking Up App and His podcast Making Sense if you’re interested in more in depth discussions that don’t devolve into Sam having the head of a dog. I agree that perhaps Ricky goes on a bit in this podcast as others have mentioned, he also tends to lose the thread of Sam’s argument which defeats the thread of the point they’re trying to make and often makes the exact opposite point. But hey ho… it’s Ricky, you’re entertained or you’re not. And there is entertainment here. What’s most interesting is that Ricky has decided that Sam is his latest “Karl Pilkington” endlessly playing “would you rather” games. I guess Ricky was bored and decided that a leading intellectual was his best bet to ask stupid questions to. I don’t imagine we’ll see signs that say Sam Harris has the head of a F**k**ng Orange.

More reviews of Absolutely Mental
I have heard and seen everything Ricky has done and this is the first time I have been disappointed. Ricky is interesting but he never lets anyone get more than a few words out. I won't bother with the other episodes...but I am sure Ricky won't care.Read full review »
