Ep 9: Journeys. Life, Love, and a Crisis of Faith.
Listen now
Description
Episode nine hails from the Bear Paw Cafe in St. George, Utah, a diner that journeyed from its original location outside Anchorage, Alaska by a Mormon family with strong ties to the LDS Church. The owner/manager is a third-generation son who works 60+ hours a week keeping this popular food destination hopping. We hear from four people--all Millennial/Gen Zer's starting their journeys of life, love and faith--or a crisis of faith.  Jackson is the good-practicing Mormon; Janessa is a first-time mother questioning her LDS roots because women are taught to be subservient to their husbands rather than be equal partners; Levi feels he needs to leave Mormonism behind in order to truly find himself; and Max, a visiting Jew from Philly, draws striking parallels between Judaism and Mormonism.  Young minds and voices spreading their wings of self-realization!
