“Genuinely entertaining show that owns the Goldilocks Zone between programmes fuelled by fake ‘roid ragey bombast and too-cool-for-(film)school rejects who consider ‘meh’ valid film criticism.
Ben and Andrew have an easy chemistry that make their back and forth fun, and the hour and a bit breeze by. The occasional guest is also welcome and so far, every person they’ve had on has been a great addition to the conversation.
The show feels like a cheerful, enthusiastic and intelligent hang out with friends who like to talk movies.
Most importantly, they display a genuine love for the films they are discussing, and unlike the many hosts I’ve seen on other shows, these guys actually seem like they WANT to be there.”
