“Do yourself a favor as an actor regardless of your experience, and check out this podcast!!! Leigh’s guests are all top pros in the biz, his questions and insights are on point, and if you’re like me, you’ll take the deep dive and investigate Ron Morasco’s and Michael Kostroff’s books as well, also highly recommend. Side note though - as a Chicago to LA transplant, I found an awesome tribe of actors as a support group, so take the Bill Oberst Jr., interview with caution. His experience is no doubt authentic to him, but that’s not representative of what LA has to be like if you find a group of awesome actors to be around as rehearsal partners and collaborators - that interview brings a lot of people down, maybe necessarily as a wake up call to some degree, but it’s not the road you have to take. Anyway, listen and enjoy this show on your commute! Look forward to the interviews to come!!!”
