Too many podcasts interviewers skip over the nitty gritty to get to the successes. But Leigh asks the questions we actors really want to know. What do in the room? Best ways to memorize? How to deal with failure and rejection? How to auditions for a one line role?
I’ve been acting professionally for 18 years, acted on Broadway and National tours for 6 years. While theater has been my home I’ve recently been trying to make the switch to TV and Film. Being able to listen to actors, casting directors and managers who are doing what I’m trying to is invaluable.
I will often go back and listen to an episode if I have a big audition coming up or if I’m feeling beaten down by this industry and I need a refocus and a motivational boost.
