“I never thought id say this but because of your podcast i have quickly become a Denny Hamlin fan which absolutely pisses me off. This is a simple good vs evil situation. I am a complete fan of dirt track racing but I have also been a long time fan of nascar. I grew up a Jeff Gordon fan as a kid which obviously eased me into becoming a Jimmy Johnson fan. Once he retired i kinda lost interest in the sport. I was always a strong Kyle Larson fan following his dirt track racing career. Needless to say once he started racing for Rick Hedrick i was thrilled and now follow nascar more heavily than ever. So in this story he became my “hero”, and as the story goes every hero needs a villan or nemesis. For a short time it appeared you were going to be that nemisis and i was pretty excited to have someone to root against. Well now you have ruined that for me since i have began listening to your podcast. I absolutely love your unbiased opinions on all of your topics and i think you do a great job of breaking the topics down an explaining things in the sport making things more understandable to nascar fans. I also love hearing both the point of view from a driver as well as an owner creating very unique perspectives. I also love that as an owner you had the balls to stand up against nascar for what you and your team feel is right when many other teams were unwilling or financially unable to do so. Well i guess for now ill continue to enjoy your podcast and wait for the next potential “villain or nemisis” to come along. I would love to see you pull off a championship…….if it is not Larson.
