Pendarvis Harshaw is the host of “Rightnowish,” an arts and culture columnist at KQED in Northern California, and a YR alum. He’s also the author of “OG Told Me,” a memoir about his experiences growing up in Oakland and learning from community elders.
Before this episode, host Nyge Turner and Pendarvis had only met once. They never got a chance to truly connect. But it turns out the two have a lot in common. Something that’s been on both of their minds lately is friendships, specifically their evolution over time.
