Helping Me Heal
I feel like Adult ISH understands me. I’m in my late 20s and have had relationship issues with my mom throughout the years. When I listened to the episode on moms I got so much clarity on my dynamic with her and it encouraged me to work on our relationship. And, of course...it made me cry in the best way. My mother-daughter relations is still a work in progress but how open Nyge was about his mom and Merk’s curiosity has inspired to heal those old and unknown wounds with her. I hope the episode and the show as a whole has the same therapeutic relief for everyone as it has given me. ❤

I really appreciate the candidness of the hosts in the topics they bring up on the show like loss and speaking up to your parents about what you need as their kid. I am an almost-adult myself and am thankful for a show like this!

My friend told me about adult ish and I’m glad he did. The episodes aren’t too long and keep me company on ~30 minute drives. The hosts are also entertaining and help me feel like a more competent adult haha

I love how their different perspectives work together and how they aren’t afraid to disagree...Read full review »
