Adventures in Radio
This was an excellent podcast when it was produced by Jim Widener. Starting in January 2009, it seems that production of this podcast was taken over by Humphrey & Camardella Media Productions, which is apparently treating it solely as a vehicle to sell advertising (using media content that was produced a half-century ago). These latter podcasts have none of the historical and cultural commentary that was provided by Widener -- instead, there are ads for Subway sandwiches. In addition, the quality of the programming doesn't begin to compare to those programs that were selected by Widener. My advise is to forgo subscribing to this podcast; just download all of the episodes that were released up to and including March 2007, and ignore the rest -- unless you enjoy listening to deservedly obscure OTR programs (not everything produced back then deserves to be remembered.)
