“With a plethora of articulate AFL media journalists on hand, it is really surprising and rather disappointing we get Thompson and Lauder every week. Lauder comes off as a grumpy old man, while Thompson all too often falls for the trap of engaging in what I suspect the show incorrectly thinks is “entertaining banter.” I would recommend the SuperFooty podcast, where banter is generally more on-point and the commentators are more lucid/trip over fewer non-sequiturs than the guys on this program. Having said that, Drew Petrie provides decent player insights.”
