“Clearly these blokes enjoy each other’s company and that’s great. I’m sure they’re lovely enough guys. But listening to a few mates who are mediocre journalists bantering about whatever takes their fancy is not my idea of a good podcast.
In terms of genre, it’s similar to the NBA podcast “No Dunks”. It’s just that the ND crew are pros and have nailed the balance between inside jokes/banter and accessible, and even occasionally insightful content. This podcast has a lot of column A, and not so much from columns B or C.
I’m unsubscribing now, but I do think there’s some potential here. I’ll check in in a couple of years if they’re still around.”
