The Van Gogh of Orishas | Ep 5

Description
It's your faves, back at it again with another episode of Art Mythos. This week we're talking about the Orisha equivalent of Van Gogh! The Yoruba Goddess of movement, restoration and rivers, the beautiful soul that inspired our painting 'Love Conquers All'...Oba! So lend us your ear and find out how she got this title. We will also take turns to narrate our favourite African folktales; something to do with an old man and his wife made of wood (ouch!) and another one of a fat woman made of oil (that's phat with 'ph' btw). And of course as usual, you can expand your wisdom by hearing our African proverb of the week. Cover art by @adeche.atelier Music by @RichardFemi_ of @MutualSoundz Hosted on Acast.
