“I will preface my review by saying I LOVE Big Little Feelings, and I am sure they will get their footing here…but they need some help on the production side. It felt a bit like I was at a party where everyone knew each other, and I was the odd man out - everyone is very nice, but maybe not making a huge effort to make me feel included. They seem to assume that everyone who listens knows who they are, what they do, why we should listen to them, and the background of the stories they are telling - in my case as a longtime follower of their Instagram account, I am familiar, but overall it felt a little off putting (and maybe even arrogant?). I lasted about 15 minutes before turning it off. Having some more structure could help, as could a bit more time on introducing who they are, why we’re here, and what we’re talking about. I really do love BLF and hope the podcast is successful, but I won’t be checking back in until they work some of the kinks out.”
