Re: Late for the Sky - I remember watching Taxi Driver in a small 3-screen multiplex in my hometown when suddenly Late for the Sky started playing. Jackson had written Take it Easy, been involved with Eagles and had some modest hits but Jackson was still this kind of mysterious, culty folk-rock figure. I felt a bittersweet pang that he was achieving recognition and success, but now ”everyone” would know about him.”
