Already two-thirds of the way through and can’t stop listening
This book is absolutely enthralling. Robert’s experiences as a field journalist is clear in his realistic world building. Finally, there is dystopian novel that feels grounded in the reality of a society struggling for a new normal in the shambles following a revolution. The characters are well written and relatable. They feel like real people with real motivations who grow and change with their ever evolving circumstances. The three main characters stories are woven together organically, guided by their own development rather than simply the needs of the story’s plot. Robert weaves a narrative that while dystopian, feels realistic and almost a little too close to home. All of this creates a novel that will challenge the reader to not consume the entire story in one sitting.

Except for the narrator’s truly awful (and mercifully infrequent) attempt of an English accent this is an amazingly entertaining podcast.

I love this cast! SO well thought out. Great storyline. Wide range of characters. Complex world. Great interaction between characters!

This is especially entertaining if you’re from Texas/DFW. Can’t wait for Ben Shapiro to read this out loud on his show
