More Heresy goodness than you can shake an Anatheme at!
Enjoying this show immensely, the Heresy novels were what first got me back into the Hobby after many years away; the in depth reviews and discussion found here do the books every bit of justice and bring fresh insight into the series. I was put onto this show after it was recommended by Carl from the Independent Characters and it’s deserving of his high praise, quickly becoming second only to that show in my list of podcasts listened too. I’ve found David and Greg to be very engaging hosts, the dynamic between David’s relative newness to the 40k/30k side of the Hobby and Greg’s years of immersion in the lore make for riveting listening. It’s akin to going back to see a film you really liked with a friend who is seeing it for the first time; you find new enjoyment through their discovery and appreciation. David’s literary background (I believe he’s an English Teacher) adds a real passion for the material, he brings a wealth of comparison and contrast with other fantasy and scifi genres as well as boundless infectious enthusiasm, his readings of extracts from the books are gripping, he should be doing the audio dramas . Greg brings all the facts from an obviously well researched pool of knowledge, lovingly garnered from all sources available and is also a great ambassador for our famed British sense of humour. The two of them make the long, but necessary for the wealth of detail, running time of the shows fly by and I heartily recommend you give them a listen if you at all interested in the Horus Heresy.

Fantastic show. If you have any interest in 40k, 30k, or the Horus Heresy books in general, this is not a show to miss. The level of detail put into each episode is fantastic.
