“*UPDATE 7/22 below* The vibe of this show is excellent and scratches that creepy + western itch I didn’t know I had. I’m a big fan of TTRPG podcasts and Call of Cthulhu, in particular. This group does a great job of goofing without killing the aesthetic. The only negative is the podcast release schedule. I’d like more, please. Would highly recommend. Update: the show is still quality and I highly recommend it. However, the latest season is a bit overproduced. It’s slightly distracting and removes some of the improvisational/TTRPG feel. I still get cravings for this show, but it’s not an automatic download for me anymore.”
