Disorientingly good.
It’s more fine-grain than I actually thought possible for a super-compelling food podcast. But going thru menus item-by-item with interesting chefs and a host whose knowledge is rivaled by his approachability...... IMHO it makes for the best podcast out there right now. Do you need to know about LA food scene? Probably helps. But somewhat optional. Am I saying that Mr. Okun can help fill the void created by Jonathan Gold’s passing? Look, for everyone, it’s different. And what is so cool here is that Okun is doing things his own unique way... But news is tough these days, and this podcast helps me with some voids.
