Amazon has acquired Snackable AI, a small audio-focused artificial intelligence (AI) firm, to improve user features for its podcasts. The acquisition, which took place at the end of last year, was confirmed by Amazon. Snackable AI’s technology generates highlights and chapters in audio and video clips. Amazon Music users who listen to podcasts may soon get an AI assist as a result. The company has declined to comment further on the acquisition.
