Google plans to pivot its search engine towards a “visual, snackable, personal, and human” approach aimed at attracting younger users, according to the Wall Street Journal. The shift away from the “10 blue links” format will include adding more human voices to search results, the report said. The company is expected to announce the new features at its annual Input/Output (I/O) developer conference in the coming week, which will enable users to engage in conversations with an AI program. The project, codenamed “Magi,” aims to provide an enhanced and personalized search experience.
