“Alba Salix is fresh, well-paced and very funny. If, like me, you can find modern accents and medieval settings jarring, then hold up - listen to two or three minutes and let the story enchant. The story, told from a medical angle, is an original take on fairy-tale themes and you quickly find yourself chuckling along. The characters are sympathetic and I find myself genuinely caring what happens to the assortment of crooks and charlatans. The episodes are short enough to fill a half-hour commute, but are long enough to feel satisfying. Give this a go, and like me you might find yourself re-listening again.”
