This decision was announced by Matt Crocker and the U.S. Soccer Federation following the USMNT group stage exit from the Copa América 2024. Next steps for the team will include selecting a new head coach immediately. As the Copa América 2024 continued on today, Uruguay and Colombia faced off in the semifinals. The Colombians advanced to the finals with their 1-0 victory and continued their unbeaten streak of 28 matches. England also clinched their spot in the Euro 2024 finals behind Ollie Watkins' 90th minute goal. The Three Lions will take on Spain in just their second ever Euro finals appearance.
