“I’ve been listening to AFE since 2018. I used to really enjoy the show, but over the years, the quality of the conversations and draft topics has waned.
Ian is still a ringer of a host, and David stands out as one of podcasting’s greatest cohosts. The third cohost is the biggest pain-point of the podcast, as he interjects with awkward, obnoxious, or ignorant dialogue. It has become so grating that I had to take an extended break from the show. I just don’t find ignorance funny or cute, and it’s on display on nearly every episode.
I’d suggest listening to old episodes in the 0-99 and 100-199 range. If you’re looking for some basic/lowest common denominator-type podcasting, you have it here with AFE.”
