Mark & Kenny combine encyclopaedic knowledge of the music & live performances with a deep and personal sense of Madonna’s impact on the world & the context in which she was operating. They are doing social history, not just pop fan service — and threading through their own histories in ways that are relatable and totally moving. I am desperately seeking more episodes, the first two seasons have taught me SO MUCH”
