Magnificent!
Utterly phenomenal. Not only the best film podcast I know, but perhaps my favourite podcast broadcasting today. There is everything here that makes a podcast enjoyable - genuinely funny banter, a distinctive warmth and authentic enthusiasm. But, more than that, this podcast is vacuum packed with fascinating information about many of the greatest films of all time. The hosts have a rich appreciation for how films work their magic, and their shot by shot analyses of famous scenes and the arcs of characters are as enthralling as the movies themselves. On top of all this, it is - subtly - superbly produced. There are no intrusive sound effects or hammy attempts at reconstructing the cliches of radio, but the podcast is a labour of love and the editing and crisp production make it all the more compelling. One more reason to love All The Right Movies: There is a complete absence of ego. The hosts go by nicknames and I have no idea who they are. Even though they have world class understanding of the form and history of cinema and are as articulate as any professional critics, they do not come across as lads in search of fame. Instead, they are mates with a shared passion for film. Perhaps the greatest thing about this terrific podcast is that it sends you back to films you have not seen in years, restoring your love for classics and encouraging you to look at other treasures with a new eye. Reel magic.

All the Right Movies is simply the best movie podcast. They’re just a great bunch of guys who love movies and have a lot of fun talking about them.

What a great excuse to revisit some of those classic movies. I got into the habit of watching the featured filums (tried to write that in a Geordie accent) before I heard them discuss so I didn’t miss any of the discussions areas. Great chemistry with the guys helps knit this podcast together.
