You’re not alone
I lost my aunt in January at age 94, and I am reliving my mother’s death in 2015 at 102 as a result. My father died when I was at school, so all my elders are gone. I realize now how often I called them when I had news to share or needed advice. Their deaths leave a void. I think the void is what we all share, and which is so hard to explain.
