“Allie, I can’t even express how grateful I am that God has moved you to say these things. I could literally write pages worth of how you’ve been a part of my journey of finding Jesus, who I thought I’ve known since a little girl, but I was really a lukewarm Christian for my 14 years of living.
I thank you because you talked about these unhealthy horror films, and earlier today I hadn’t been able to bring myself to unfollow a murder podcast that I used to dive into every single day. But it took my mind off of Jesus, and while I hadn’t believed it was impacting me, it was, because hours were wasted feeding negative actions and thoughts into my mind, feeding off of others sins and saying “I would never”. And even worse, those murder podcasts actually took up hours in which I could’ve been listening to Christian podcasts, or been reading the Bible, or praying.
After your most recent episode, I unfollowed that murder podcast. Thank you for speaking the truth of Jesus and the Bible!
