“I used to enjoy this podcast until the episode on the Trump assassination attempt. If you listen to this episode, you will learn that, however intelligent these guys are, they live in a Trump bubble and drink just as much Kool-Aid as the average person in the middle of this country. To try to position Trump’s angry and violent rhetoric as just being misconstrued by the mainstream media is ludicrous. You can vote for whomever you want to, but you need to own the consequences of the actions and rhetoric of the party you choose. No candidate in this presidential race deserves to be assassinated, but at the same time, you should realize that there is a non-trivial portion of our country that takes words literally. You are either part of the problem or part of the solution. David Sacks is a textbook example of the Dunning-Kruger effect where you believe that if you are smart in one area, you are smart in all areas. In addition, he is so all in on Trump. His only criteria for voting is whether the candidate can make him wealthier by whatever means necessary. If somebody presented him with five videos of Trump molesting children, he would spend his time arguing that one of the five videos was not as high resolution as it should’ve been.”
