Unfortunate hypocrisy
I hate that I am having to write the review and that I can no longer listen or support this podcast. I am of the mindset that discrimination in all forms is wrong. I used to believe that the hosts felt the same way, especially considering the message of these books. Unfortunately, that is not at all the case, despite what the hosts say. They berated JK Rowling for her statements regarding the trans community and insist that tolerance is needed, but then go on to discriminate against and villainize an entire population of people (Republicans). The hypocrisy is concerning, especially because the hosts don’t seem to realize or acknowledge it. Because of this, I will no longer listen nor allow my kids to listen, as this messaging is the exact opposite of what I am trying to teach them. Hopefully the hosts will be able to take a look inside themselves and instead of continuing to spew vitriol and hate, they will lead with love.

I really enjoy this podcast. It's funny, engaging and interesting and I feel like it's not too repetitive of others things I've read/listened to. I thouroughly recommend it to any fan of Harry Potter!Read full review »
