How this pod has changed
I’ve listened since 2006 to this podcast when it launched as Mugglecast. I’ve loved it for years. Over the last 2 years, my listening has declined and now I’m unsubscribing. Here why: I adore Harry Potter. I even went to the 17 years later by mugglenet in Orlando! I even guested on this show! But I really feel that this podcast has become a lot more about hosts than the books. I get really tired of joke fighting between hosts, highlighting on their personal lives, and more of this “character” format than just talking about potter. Honestly, I also think we’ve said most of what can be said at this point and while the hosts are doing in depth research on minor characters, it just feels like the personal is being added unnecessarily making the show less HP and longer episodes. I’m sorry to go but I just felt that so much of my eat time was NOT being spent on potter.

This is a really good, interesting and in-depth podcast, perfect for anyone interested in anything Potter. It's fantastic that it's structured chapter by chapter so it will go on for so long. It's getting back to the purity and intelligence of Jo Rowling's writing. A must!Read full review »

Great idea and great execution. Having a wonderful time rereading the books and can't wait for each new episode. It's always fun and always funny, I and I keep getting new and deeper insights into the series.Read full review »
