Description
Over the course of a lifetime, a menstruating women will use between 5 and 15 thousand tampons and pads. Most of those will end up in landfill as plastic waste - standard tampons take about 500 years to break down. That means, the world's first ever tampon is still on this planet.
What if we could do period care differently?
Enter Hello Period, the world's first sustainable period company that offers reusable products - cups, discs, pads and period underpants. Hello Period was co-founded by today's guest, Robyn McLean.
This is a story about innovation, about looking after our planet and about how an idea became a successful business.
