“The Pharmaggedon episode made some good points but also widely extrapolated from one example. Not all biotechs are funded by taxpayer money. That is a dishonest claim. Also, scientists in Pharma and biotech are striving everyday towards cures, not just treatments. It turns out that diseases that scientists have been trying to cure for decades are very difficult to cure... Good points are made about price structuring tho, that definitely needs to change.”
