“I subscribed to try and understand why this man, who is entirely unknown in England, has achieved celebrity status in the US. The only possible conclusion is that some people, apparently very influential ones, have taken leave of their senses.
I love the paintings of Dalí. They are so flawless that they give the feeling of seeng the world through different eyes, perceiving it with a different mind. Gorka’s podcast is a bit like that but instead of surreal visions executed with incredible technical skill, you’re looking at excrement smeared on the walls.
I suppose I should be glad that at no point does he inspire any kind of feeling of connection.”
