If you love American history...
I originally stumbled upon this podcast right at its inception- but didn’t know it. American Catholic History podcast started out really strong right out of the gate, so I assumed it had been around for a long time. I follow other great podcasts on the SQPN network, and am a big fan of their topics, information, and presentation. Every week, I learn about a very interesting topic in American history that in most cases I did not know. Noëlle and Tom Crowe share the hosting on each episode and keep things pithy and engaging. Most episodes cause me to follow up and do more research because the subjects are so darn interesting. Each week you learn a more intimate understanding of some of America‘s most fascinating people. The show does come from a Catholic perspective without apologies, but the history is well researched, factual, and well presented. I regularly seek out new and interesting podcasts and delete ones of lesser interest to me. This podcast will always remain in my podcast player! Thank you Tom & Noëlle for your hard work!

My kids and I really enjoy these podcasts. We’re homeschooling and learning about early American history so some of the events and personages overlap with our book learning. These are a lot of fun!

Tom and Noelle are lighthearted and tell great stories on the Catholic contributions to American culture and history.

The content is excellent and unique: Catholic history in America. The voices are pleasant and the narratives are scripted, but informal. I can see this as a great supplement to homeschool curriculum or CCD classes, as well as interesting to the adult casual listener.
